Days 152 - 181 | 1 Kings 2 Chronicles • Song of Solomon • Proverbs • Ecclesiastes
Welcome to Month 6: Chronological Bible Reading Plan
Month 5 left us watching David's story close... and now here comes Solomon.
This month is something else. It starts with a king asking God for wisdom instead of wealth, and God giving him both. You'll read the book of Proverbs differently when you know it came from a man's actual life... a man who had seen war, succession, betrayal, and the faithfulness of a God who keeps his word to fathers long dead.
And then the Temple gets built. Fire falls from heaven. The glory of God fills the courts. It's the moment the whole Old Testament has been pointing toward... God dwelling with his people, in a house, in the middle of a city, in the middle of history.
But Month 6 doesn't end there.
It ends with a kingdom split in two. Not by an enemy. By pride, bad counsel, and hearts that quietly drifted from the one thing that made Israel, Israel. You'll watch it happen slowly, then all at once... and you'll feel the grief of it the way a father feels it watching a son make the choice he begged him not to make.
That's actually the thread running through all of it this month. Not a story of a great king rising and falling. A story of a Father who gave everything, and a people who kept choosing less.
Come ready. Month 6 is worth it.

Welcome to Month 5: Chronological Bible Reading Plan
Welcome to Month 5. Last month, you watched David rise. This month, you will watch him reign — and fall — and rise again. Month 5 is an emotionally complex section of our Heart Dive 365 journey. You are going to sit with a man described as "a man after God's own heart" and watch his family shatter as a direct consequence of his sin. And then, you are going to watch him write some of the most breathtakingly honest prayers ever recorded.
May opens with David consolidating his kingdom and receiving the Davidic covenant. This is not just a political promise; this is a redemptive one. If you want to read the Bible in one year, this is the month where the chronological bible reading plan makes the Psalms stop being poetry and become testimony.
From the heartbreak of Bathsheba to the raw grief of family rebellion, you will see that God does not abandon His people. By Day 151, you will be standing at the edge of Solomon's reign, holding the weight of everything David's story cost — and everything it secured.

Month 4: Chronological Bible Reading Plan
Welcome to Month 4. This month marks a major shift in our Heart Dive 365 journey. We transition from the rescue of Israel by the Judges into the heart-cry of the Psalms and the establishment of the Throne.
What to expect in April?
Our chronological bible reading plan takes us through the cycle of rebellion and rescue, leading us right to the dawn of the United Kingdom and the rise of the "Man after God's own heart":
Judges & Ruth: We witness the rescue of a forgetful people through flawed heroes, followed by a beautiful story of redemption that points directly to the lineage of Christ.
1 & 2 Samuel: We follow the transition from the last Judge, Samuel, to the rise and fall of Saul, and finally to David’s journey from a shepherd on the run to the King of Israel.
The Psalms: We dive into the "Crying out" Psalms David wrote while in the caves and on the run (Psalms 7, 18, 27, 34, 52, and many more).
1 Chronicles 1-10: We close the month with the foundational genealogies and the spiritual perspective of the transition from Saul’s failure to David’s kingdom.
If you are looking to read the Bible in one year, Month 4 is where you see that God’s plan—and His worship—cannot be stopped by human failure. Use the cards below to continue your one year Bible study.

Welcome to Month 3: Chronological Bible Reading Plan
This month is a turning point in our Heart Dive 365 journey. You are going to watch an entire generation miss the Promised Land because of fear and unbelief, and then watch the next generation step into it with faith.
March picks up in Numbers, where the spies return from Canaan with a bad report and the people refuse to go in. That decision costs them 40 years in the wilderness. You will walk through the consequences, the wandering, and the preparation of a new generation. Then you will land in Deuteronomy, where Moses delivers his final sermons to the people he has led for four decades. He will not cross the Jordan with them, but he pours everything he has into making sure they remember who God is and what He requires.
After Moses, you will meet Joshua. The Jordan parts. Jericho falls. The Promised Land is conquered and divided. It is one of the most action-packed stretches in our chronological bible reading plan.
And then, just when the dust settles, you will open Judges. And the cycle begins. Israel forgets. Israel falls. God rescues. Israel forgets again. It is frustrating and deeply relatable. This one year Bible study will stretch you. You will see the cost of disobedience, the beauty of faithfulness, and the patience of a God who does not give up on His people even when they give up on themselves.
Take it one day at a time. God has something for you in every chapter as you read the Bible in one year.

Welcome to Month 2. Having escaped Egypt, we now enter the heart of the wilderness. This month is about the formation of a nation. As we continue our Heart Dive 365 journey, we move through the second half of Exodus, the entirety of Leviticus, and the beginning of Numbers.
What to expect in February?
Following a chronological bible reading plan means we don't skip the "hard" books. This month we transition from the glory of the Tabernacle into the holiness of the Law:
Exodus 7-40: We watch the plagues, the parting of the Red Sea, and the intricate construction of the Tabernacle where God’s presence dwells.
Leviticus 1-27: Often the place where readers get stuck, we approach this book as a beautiful picture of how a holy God makes a way for a sinful people to draw near to Him through sacrifice and priesthood.
Numbers 1-13: We conclude the month by numbering the tribes and preparing for the journey to the Promised Land—only to face the infamous report of the spies at Kadesh Barnea.
This **one year Bible study** is designed to show you that even in the repetitive laws of Leviticus, Christ is on every page. Use the cards below to dive into your daily video lessons.

Welcome to Month 1: Chronological Bible Reading Plan
Welcome to Month 1. This is where your journey through the Word begins. If you have always wanted to read the Bible in one year, you are in the right place. Our Heart Dive 365 plan follows a specific chronological bible reading plan—meaning we read the events in the order they actually happened in history, rather than the order they appear in a standard Bible.
Why does the plan jump from Genesis to Job?
You will notice that in January (Days 001–031), we start in Genesis, jump into Job, return to Genesis, and finish the month in Exodus. There is a very intentional reason for this:
Genesis 1-11: We cover the dawn of history, from Creation to the Tower of Babel.
The Book of Job: Most biblical scholars believe Job lived during the same time as Abraham. To keep our chronological study accurate, we sit with Job’s story right where it fits historically.
Genesis 12-50: We return to the family of Abraham to watch the rise of the twelve tribes of Israel and their journey into Egypt.
Exodus 1-6: We conclude the month by witnessing the transition from Joseph’s favor to the bondage of the Israelites.
