Day 093 Judges 10-12
Welcome to Day 093. The pattern repeats. Israel sins. God allows them to be oppressed. They cry out. And God sends a judge.
This time, it's Jephthah, a man rejected by his own family, born to a prostitute, considered an outcast. But God sees something in him. God chooses him.
Jephthah leads Israel to victory against the Ammonites. But he rashly vows to God, with tragic consequences. Even the judges aren't perfect. Even their victories are marred by human error.
Yet God continues to work through them. His patience with Israel's repeated rebellion is astounding. Over and over, they fail. Over and over, He delivers.
The Heartbeat: God's patience is endless. He doesn't give up on His people, even when they keep making the same mistakes. His willingness to forgive and restore us again and again reflects His nature. He is faithful, even when we're faithless.
Heart-Check: How many times have you returned to the same sin? Does knowing God's patience encourage you or challenge you to change?
