Day 017 Genesis 16-18
Welcome to Day 017. We meet Hagar, an Egyptian slave caught in a situation she didn’t create. Desperate and alone, she flees into the wilderness.
And there, in her lowest moment, God finds her. He doesn’t ignore her pain. He sees her, names her, and makes promises over her life. Hagar names the well “Beer Lahai Roi”—the well of the Living One who sees me.
Meanwhile, Abraham receives the most impossible promise: he and Sarah, both elderly and barren, will have a son. God’s ways defy logic, but they never fail.
The Heartbeat: God sees every person, every struggle, every tear. The invisible are not forgotten by Him. He remembers those the world overlooks and makes promises over their lives that change everything.
Heart-Check: Do you feel unseen or forgotten? God knows your name, your pain, and your future. You are seen.
