Welcome to Month 3.
This month is a turning point. You are going to watch an entire generation miss the Promised Land because of fear and unbelief, and then watch the next generation step into it with faith.
March picks up in Numbers, where the spies return from Canaan with a bad report and the people refuse to go in. That decision costs them 40 years in the wilderness. You will walk through the consequences, the wandering, and the preparation of a new generation. Then you will land in Deuteronomy, where Moses delivers his final sermons to the people he has led for four decades. He will not cross the Jordan with them, but he pours everything he has into making sure they remember who God is and what He requires.
After Moses, you will meet Joshua. The Jordan parts. Jericho falls. The Promised Land is conquered and divided. It is one of the most action-packed stretches in the whole Bible.
And then, just when the dust settles, you will open Judges. And the cycle begins. Israel forgets. Israel falls. God rescues. Israel forgets again. It is frustrating and deeply relatable.
This month will stretch you. You will see the cost of disobedience, the beauty of faithfulness, and the patience of a God who does not give up on His people even when they give up on themselves.
Take it one day at a time. God has something for you in every chapter.

Why These Books? Why Now?
If January showed us God's calling and February showed us God's provision, March shows us God's faithfulness through testing.

In NUMBERS (Chapters 14-36, continued from February), Israel faces their greatest test: will it enter the Promised Land or turn back? When fear wins, they refuse God's promise. God responds with discipline. Forty years of wilderness wandering. But even in judgment, God provides. Daily manna. Water from rocks. His presence is constant.

DEUTERONOMY (Chapters 1-34) is Moses' farewell. Before he dies, he reminds the people of everything God has done. He warns them: remember. Don't forget. When you're comfortable in the Promised Land, remember where you came from. Remember what God did. This is the antidote to spiritual drift.

JOSHUA (Chapters 1-24) is the conquest. After forty years, a new generation enters the land. Walls fall. Kings are defeated. The promise becomes reality. And Joshua reminds them: God goes before you. Fear is unnecessary. Faith is all that's needed.
Then JUDGES (Chapters 1-5, continued next month) begin. The pattern that will repeat throughout Israel's history: they sin, they're conquered, they cry out, God raises up a judge to deliver them. Again and again. Because God's faithfulness never ends.
The Chronological Picture: In Month 3, you're seeing God's faithfulness tested and proven. You're watching promises fulfilled. You're discovering that God's patience is endless, and when we turn back, He welcomes us home.
What You'll Discover
- How faith sustains us through wilderness seasons
- Why remembering God's faithfulness matters
- How God conquers on our behalf
- The cycle of sin and restoration
- That God never abandons His people
The Spiritual Theme
God is faithful. God conquers. God restores.
Even when we fail, even when we doubt, even when we turn away—God's covenant holds. His promises are yes and amen. His faithfulness is the foundation on which we build our lives.
This month, you'll encounter God's unwavering commitment to His people.
Let it anchor your faith.
-
Day 060 Numbers 14-15, Psalm 90
Welcome to Day 060. Israel stands at the edge of everything God promised them. The scouts return and say, “The land is good. But the people there are giants. We can’t win.”
-
Day 061 Numbers 16-17
Welcome to Day 061. A man named Korah rises up with 250 leaders of Israel. They’re angry. They feel like Moses and Aaron think they’re better than everyone else. “The whole congregation is holy,” they argue. “Why do you exalt yourselves above us?”
-
Day 062 Numbers 18-20
Welcome to Day 062. God reminds the priests and Levites that they’re responsible for guarding the sanctuary. They have authority, yes, but with that comes accountability. The Levites don’t receive land like other tribes—God is their inheritance.
-
Day 063 Numbers 21-22
Welcome to Day 063. Israel is almost at the finish line. They’ve been wandering for nearly forty years. And they’re still complaining. “Why did you bring us out of Egypt to die in the wilderness?” they ask. No food, no water, we’re tired of this journey.
-
Day 064 Numbers 23-25
Welcome to Day 064. Balak keeps trying different strategies to get Balaam to curse Israel. He moves to different locations, builds altars, makes offerings. Each time, Balaam speaks blessings instead of curses.
-
Day 065 Numbers 26-27
Welcome to Day 065. After forty years of wandering, it’s time for a new census. The old generation is dying off. A new generation—one that didn’t rebel at Kadesh—is ready to enter the Promised Land.

Welcome to Day 066. God gives detailed instructions for sacrifices—daily offerings, weekly offerings, monthly offerings, and seasonal festivals. It might seem repetitive and tedious, but there’s a point.
-
Day 067 Numbers 31-32

-
Day 068 Numbers 33-34

-
Day 069 Numbers 35-36

-
Day 076 Deuteronomy 17-20
Welcome to Day 076. Moses is laying out how Israel should function as a nation. They need judges to settle disputes fairly. They need leaders who won’t abuse their power. They need to understand how to engage in warfare righteously.
-
Day 077 Deuteronomy 21-23

-
Day 086 Joshua 16-18
Welcome to Day 086. Here’s something interesting: not all the tribes are fully taking possession of their land. The Canaanites are still there. -
Day 090 Judges 3-5
