Day 074 Deuteronomy 11-13
Welcome to Day 074. Moses is basically saying: "Look, don't forget where you came from. Keep your eyes on what matters."
He's reminding the people that God's blessings come with a responsibility. If they stay faithful to Him, they'll thrive. If they turn away, everything falls apart. It's simple cause and effect.
Then Moses warns them about false prophets. People who will try to convince them to follow other gods. Even if these false prophets perform miracles, Moses says, don't believe them. A miracle doesn't mean someone is speaking God's truth. The test isn't the sign. It's whether they're pointing people toward God or away from Him.
The theme is stay close to God. Remember what He's done. Don't let anything else take His place in your heart.
The Heartbeat: God is faithful and worthy of our complete devotion. He doesn't compete for your attention. He asks for it completely. When we wander toward other things, we're not just breaking rules; we're breaking our relationship with the God who loves us.
Heart-Check: What has God shown you about His faithfulness? Are you holding onto those memories, or are you beginning to forget?
