Day 034 Exodus 13-15
Welcome to Day 034. Israel finally leaves Egypt—not quietly, but with silver and gold, plunder from the people they served. Pharaoh, temporarily humbled, lets them go.
But then he changes his mind. His army pursues, trapping Israel between the sea and the Egyptian soldiers. It looks impossible. Israel is about to be recaptured or slaughtered.
Then Moses raises his staff, and God parts the sea. Israel walks across on dry ground. The Egyptians follow—and the waters crash down, destroying them all. Israel is free. Completely, undeniably free.
They respond with celebration and songs of praise. Moses and Miriam lead them in worship. They've witnessed the impossible.
The Heartbeat: God is faithful to His promises and powerful to execute them. When we're trapped between impossibility and death, He provides a way through. Our freedom cost something—God's power and plan—and it's worth celebrating.
Heart-Check: What "Red Sea" moment has God brought you through? How has that shaped your trust in Him?
