Day 082 Joshua 1-4
Welcome to Day 082. Joshua is terrified. He's been chosen to lead, but Moses is gone. The people are looking to him now. And there's a river to cross with hundreds of thousands of people.
But God speaks to Joshua: "Be strong and courageous. I am with you." Not because Joshua is qualified or brave. Because God is with him.
Joshua sends spies to scout the land, just like Moses did. But this time, they come back with a good report. The people are afraid of Israel. They've heard what God did at the Red Sea.
Then comes the moment. The priests carrying the ark step into the Jordan, and the water stops. The river parts. Israel walks across on dry ground, just like they did at the Red Sea. God is showing them... I'm with you. I was faithful then, and I'm faithful now.
As they cross, they gather twelve stones; one from each tribe. It's a memorial. A visible reminder: "God brought us here. This is what His faithfulness looks like."
The Heartbeat: God doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called. When you step into what God has called you to do, He goes before you. His presence is your guarantee.
Heart-Check: What is God calling you to step into that scares you? Can you trust that He goes before you?
