Day 043 Exodus 39-40
Welcome to Day 043. The work is complete. The Tabernacle is finished. Everything is in place. The altar, the table, the lampstand, the ark of the covenant. Every detail matches God's specifications.
Then Moses consecrates the Tabernacle with oil, and something extraordinary happens: God's presence, HIS shekinah glory, fills the Tabernacle. A cloud covers it during the day, and fire appears at night. God is visibly, physically present among His people.
Israel can follow the cloud by day and the fire by night. They'll know which direction to go, where to camp, and when to move. God's presence is their guide and their assurance.
After all the rebellion and restoration, after all the building and preparation, God's presence finally settles among His people. It's the culmination of everything since the exodus.
The Heartbeat: When we prepare a place for God's presence—through obedience, through building, through aligning our lives with His purposes—He comes. His presence is not distant or theoretical. It's real, visible, guiding, and securing. When God is present, we always know where we're going.
Heart-Check: Have you made room in your life for God's presence? What would it look like to be guided by His presence every single day?
