Day 016 Genesis 12-15
Welcome to Day 016. We’re leaving the ancient history of the world and entering the story of one man—Abraham—through whom God will change everything.
God calls Abraham to leave his home, his country, his family—everything familiar—and go to a land He’ll show him later. Abraham is 75 years old. He could have said no. Instead, he goes.
This is faith in its purest form. Not faith because you have all the details. Faith because you trust the One calling you. Abraham doesn’t know the destination, but he knows the God who’s calling.
The Heartbeat: God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called. His promises are sure even when the path is uncertain. He leads those who trust Him into purposes far greater than they can imagine.
Heart-Check: What is God calling you to that requires you to let go of security? Can you trust His leading even when you can’t see the destination?
