Day 095 Judges 16-18
Welcome to Day 095. Samson's story reaches its tragic end. He loves Delilah, a Philistine woman. She betrays him, discovering the secret of his strength... his uncut hair, the sign of his Nazirite vow.
The Philistines capture him. They blind him. They imprison him. The man who was supposed to deliver Israel is now their prisoner.
But in his blindness and captivity, something shifts. Samson finally cries out to God. Not with pride or confidence, but with desperation. And God hears him. In one final act, Samson brings down the Philistine temple, killing more enemies in death than he did in life.
It's a tragic redemption. Samson's story shows us that our choices have consequences. But it also shows that even in our lowest moments, God can use us.
The Heartbeat: God doesn't abandon us even when our choices lead to destruction. Consequences are real yet they're not always punishment, but the natural result of sin. Yet even amid the consequences, God can work redemption.
Heart-Check: Are you experiencing the consequences of your choices? Is there a way back toward God from where you are?
