Day 085 Joshua 12-15
Welcome to Day 085. All the conquering is done. Now comes the distribution. Each tribe gets its portion of land. Smaller tribes get less; larger tribes get more. It's fair and organized.
God promised land to Abraham, and now His promise is being fulfilled. Every family has somewhere to call home. Every tribe has territory.
But notice what's NOT happening: the Levites don't get land like the other tribes. Why? Because God Himself is their inheritance. They're set apart for priesthood and service. Instead of land, they receive the privilege of serving God's people.
For most people, having land means security and stability. For the Levites, having God means the same thing. It's a different path, but it's a good one.
The Heartbeat: God is generous. He gives each person what they need not what they think they need, but what's actually good for them. His distribution is fair because He knows each family, each tribe, each person.
Heart-Check: Do you trust that what God has given you—or not given you—is what you actually need right now?
